Daily Stress and Adaptive Processes for Healthy Aging
Understanding how everyday stress, health behaviors, and psychosocial experiences shape adaptive processes and long-term health in the context of aging.
Listening to Life as It Unfolds
The LIFE-CHAT Lab is led by Dr. Zexi Zhou, an Assistant Professor in the Department of Psychology at the University of Victoria, located on the beautiful Vancouver Island.
We explore what helps people and families live healthier and happier lives, with a focus on health behaviors and socioemotional adaptation across the lifespan. We use (intensive) longitudinal methods, wearable sensors, and emerging technologies to understand and promote health and well-being, from everyday experiences to long-term developmental changes.
